Kenya AA coffee is the best kenyan coffee. The AA in Kenya AA signifies the highest grade awarded to Kenyan coffee in the Kenya coffee quality grading system.
Kenyan coffee is awarded grades based on the screen size of the coffee bean. The largest beans are graded AA. The size of the bean is not the only factor that determines the quality of the coffee but it is one of the most important factors because it represents the "health" of the coffee bean.
Just like good food starts with high quality fresh product, good coffee starts with a great crop of green coffee.
The current Peak Kenya AA green coffee crop comes from an excellent crop of coffee grown in the highlands of Kenya.

Peak's roasting philosophy is that coffee should be neither light nor bitter but each coffee should have distinct rich and well balanced flavors like wine.
Peak has developed a roasting profile for each coffee that extracts the distinct and delicate flavors of each coffee.
Kenyan coffee is very delicate and can not withstand very high roasting temperatures. Beyond certain temperatures, it begins to loose its delicate bright, winey and aromatic flavors that Kenyan coffee lovers cherish.
Peak roasts the Kenya AA to a perfect medium roasts that produces a healthy looking rich brown roasted bean.

Kenya AA aroma is unlike any other in coffee. You will start enjoying the coffee as soon as you grind it. The sweet aroma of Kenyan coffee is simply amazing!
It is very important to grind your coffee to match your coffee brewing method.
Grinding your coffee too fine or too coarse for your coffee brewing equipment can lead to over extraction or underextraction of your coffee and result in a subpar cup of coffee.

Each Peak coffee is packaged and sealed in a one-way valve coffee bag that seals the fresh aroma of the coffee.
The one-way valve bag allows CO2 out but no air in. CO2 is a natural product of fresh roasted coffee.
Assuming you will not consume 1 lb of coffee in one day (Too much of anything is not healthy - even Peak coffee!), it is important to store your coffee properly to retain the freshness of the coffee beans.
First, we recommend you buy your coffee in whole beans as opposed to ground because ground coffee gets stale much faster. To do so, you will need to invest in a good grinder if you don't already own one.
Second, grind only as much coffee as you need for each brew or each day. After grinding your coffee, refold the coffee bag and use the wire-tie to seal the coffee bag. Store the bag in a cool dry place.
